Media Partnership: Achieving the energy transition through active energy efficiency

Achieving the energy transition through active energy efficiency

Pragmatic, cost-effective technologies for everything from sector integration to buildings

Heating and cooling account for half of the gross final energy consumption in Europe. Most of it is still based on fossil fuels.

Decarbonising thermal needs will therefore contribute massively to addressing both, the energy and the climate challenge.

From short payback solutions such as hydronic balancing and BACS in buildings via heat pumps through to district energy and sector integration, there is a broad range of technologies that is immediately available to decarbonize buildings and accelerate the energy transition.

What is now needed is the right policy framework to make it happen on the ground.

Join the debate and hear from our speakers about policy opportunities in the context of Fit-For-55, priority action areas according to a new study by Agora Energiewende and concrete technology solutions.

We look forward to welcoming you!
