The Launch Event of EU Code Week 2025 will take place on Monday, 13 October 2025, hosted by MEP Victor Negrescu, Vice President of the European Parliament.

EU Code Week, taking place from 11 to 26 October 2025, is a Europe-wide initiative that promotes coding, digital creativity, and computational thinking through grassroots activities.

To inaugurate this year’s edition, join us online to take part in EU Code Week's launch event which will convene policymakers, educators, industry representatives, and members of the Code Week community.

The programme will include keynote interventions, thematic discussions, and demonstrations that highlight the initiative’s achievements, underline its contribution to digital inclusion, and present opportunities for engagement. Key themes will address grassroots digital education, the role of artificial intelligence in skills development, digital careers, and initiatives promoting diversity and participation in the digital sector. The event will also feature the official launch of the EU Code Week Hackathons 2025.
