Is the European media sector ready for AI? Are media professionals prepared for the impact of EU enlargement? What measures can policymakers implement during the future 2024-2029 mandate? Europe MédiaLab, in collaboration with its consortium partners in Stars4Media NEWS and Stars4Media FACTCHECKING, presents Stars4Media Day. Held under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency to the European Union, this conference promises to become the focal point for discussions on the future of the news media industry.

Hosted at Résidence Palace, the event will bring together the Stars4Media community, media associations, policymakers, and other media industry professionals. The morning session will feature panel discussions covering crucial topics such as the development of an industrial policy for the news media sector practical applications of AI and innovation, and the challenges of disinformation, particularly in Eastern Europe.

With a focus on fostering collaboration, innovation, and addressing pressing issues like cross-border media consolidation and fact-checking, Stars4Media Day aims to pave the way for an European industrial policy tailored to the needs of the news media sector. This event builds upon Stars4Media's successful transformation projects and aligns with the EU's efforts to rebalance the digital ecosystem, empower media professionals, and combat disinformation.

Through engaging debates, insightful panels, and collaborative sessions, Stars4Media Day will serve as a platform for shaping the future of media in Europe. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a vital discussion at the intersection of media and policy trends, driving positive change and innovation in the industry.
