Women leaders are redefining the future of food systems, driving innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth across the agrifood sector. Their strategic leadership and creativity are transforming how we produce, distribute, and consume food, shaping a more resilient and equitable future.

“Accelerating Innovation Through Women Leadership”, part of the EIT Food Next Bite series, will gather entrepreneurs, startups, investors, corporates, policy makers, and innovation enablers to explore how empowering women accelerates transformation across the agrifood ecosystem.

As the celebration of the Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) 2025 Programme, the event will highlight the achievements of 13 inspiring women founders and spotlight the most promising innovations emerging from the EWA community.

Throughout the day, participants will experience a dynamic programme combining discussions, startup showcases, and 1:1 networking opportunities designed to inspire action and collaboration. Two thematic stages will feature expert insights, real success stories, and future-focused debates.

The Startup Booths space will showcase 15 groundbreaking agrifood startups from biotech and regenerative agriculture to circular food systems and digital innovation - alongside an EUIPO booth offering free advice on intellectual property for startups.

Beyond the discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Network with investors and policy makers driving agrifood transformation in Europe.
• Experience live pitches from EWA participants presenting inspiring ideas and ventures.
• Explore collaboration opportunities that connect investment, innovation, and policy to create real-world impact.
