Representatives from various political parties are actively engaging in discussions about the future of Europe and its potential directions. The European elections not only directly impact the Members of the European Parliament, they also indirectly impact a new European Commission and Council. The outcome will define the political priorities for the period 2024-2029.
Due to many recent crises and changes, the EU’s strategic autonomy has advanced. We can see that the reindustrialisation of the EU is starting to take shape, with the emergence of European industrial champions. An economic balance is underway in which SMEs also play a primary role for continued European competitiveness.
Due to the varied approaches of each political party in addressing these challenges, Euractiv will convene representatives from European political parties to share their viewpoints.
Join this Euractiv roundtable event to discuss the 2024-2029 EU Agenda, different political views, and ideas on how to shape the future of the EU. Questions to be addressed include:
- What are the main priorities on the EU Agenda 2024-2029 according to the different political parties?
- Is strategic autonomy an achievable goal for the European Union in the near future?
- How can the European continent become more attractive for large-scale investments?
